Breed: Labrador

Age: Approx 2 years

Canine Lifeline had the pleasure of rescuing Chloe from a pound in country Victoria, in conjunction with our friends at Luv-a-Lab. She had had recently had a litter of puppies, and suddenly found herself without her pups or a home to call her own.

Initial information suggested she was 2 years old, but all factors point to her being a little younger than this. She arrived still carrying quite a bit of excess weight but otherwise healthy. Her foster Mum has been working very hard to get the weight off her and get her pregnant belly to retract as far as possible.

Chloe is always looking for a cuddle and is often to be found sitting in the lap of her foster auntie, a gigantic squishy lap dog, and she loves going for a swim in the fishpond.

She is still so young and very bouncy, but learning that she can’t leap all over everyone.

Her training progresses beautifully. She can walk nicely on lead, sit or drop when asked and hold a drop stay for an hour. Her recall is a work in progress but coming along well.

Chloe is a real sweetheart and is sure to make some lucky family very happy for many years.
