Breed: J.R. X
Age: 9 months
Introducing Penny, a 9 month old Jack Russell x. Penny is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and heart worm treated. Penny has no major medical requirements.
Penny is a cheeky, lively little girl who gets along with all the dogs that she meets. She loves to play with them and would love a companion or two in her new home. She might be a bit too boisterous for an elderly dog or a nervous dog but otherwise would get along with most dogs. She is interested in cats but not aggressive. We would suggest supervision to begin with to be sure she doesn’t learn to chase them. She is untested with livestock or small pets.
Penny loves people and is well socialised to kids, adults and older folk. She would be comfortable in a big, bustling family or in a smaller family unit. She would enjoy going out and about with her family to cafes or picnics, and would probably do well with the right training as a therapy dog.
Penny has learned to sit and drop on command, and to sit and drop stay. She walks well on lead and whilst her recall is a work in progress, she is doing well with it and is responsive in most situations. She is well mannered most of the time but will jump occasionally when she gets over excited. She has learned to wait at the door until invited in and to not barge out the gate.
Penny is a sweet young girl who still needs plenty of guidance but would do well in most situations. If you are interested in Penny please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will forward an application form.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations, desexing, micro chipping and flea and worm treatments whilst the dog is in our care.
